^^ Agree with StockTalon, here.

But if you can't afford the big price tag of the Nikon 70-200 2.8 (about 1800-2500 bucks)

Then look at the alternatives:
- Nikon 80-200 2.8 (Older version about 750-1000) Make sure it's the AF Version. They made a manual and an AF version.
- The NEWER Tamron 70-200 2.8 = between 700-800
- The NEWER Sigma 70-200 2.8 = between 1100-1400

If those are still up there ...
Check out the Tamron 18-270 VC Lens = 600-800
It's actually quite sharp past f5 and on.

Curious why no one is interested in any manual focus lenses?

this... manual lenses tend to be a little cheaper because people want AF only. I have gotten some good deals because lenses were manual or person didnt know their DSLR would AF the lens.

I use Manual Focus Lenses.

At the studio I work at, we use Carl Zeiss Primes, all are manual focus.
Those though, are super sharp.

When at an event, the AF lenses are much easier than sitting their trying to get focus.

But when doing a private shoot for anything, yes, the Manual lenses can be sharp, but only a few of them.

I did note the Canon 50 1.2 is super sharp. And that's a manual focus lens.

When doing Macro work, it's best to use MF as oppose to AF. I have found that AF Macro, misses more than hits.

Just lazy haha... I just want to be able to snap the picture, not sit and monkey around with the focus. Yes manual gives people more creativity but never was a fan of it...

Mines for sale if anyone wants it lol 28-200mm Sigma

My Focus by Ecoh72, on Flickr

Quickie shoot we did with the last 45 minutes of available light, I spent a little too long detailing the car and we weren't able to make it to our preferred shoot location in time.. Pretty happy with it overall but there's some stuff I plan on reworking for the next shoot. Plus my new flashes will be here and my coilovers should be on!

That's a beautiful Supra. Easily one of my favorite cars of all time. I like that shot a lot better than the super dark one from before.
