Just to add, deleting the egr whether by a tune or pulling it off & adding a plate to cover the hole, will make a difference w/ all that crap in the intake manifold & you wouldn't have to deal w/ a sticky TB ever so often.

Probably just gonna go aftermarket since its almost income tax time. What else is there other then the cosworth on the Godspeed knockoff intake manifolds

update, driven a few more miles and the car is way slower from a stop than it used to be.

But once you get it rolling it should go pretty good. A tune for the imrc delete would do wonders. Checkout a 23 powered escape's= no imrc at all. For some reason Ford did not use imrc on the escape's. Why= I have know idea. IDK if you can use a 23 manifold on a 20.

finally got to a junkyard today for a manifold and a fuel pressure sensor. had to do a little work to get the manifold off after a front end crash on the doner car, only to find out that one had the same tumble flap problem. fps was good and helped my car out a lot.

A new one is 'bout $200.00. Have you thought of a 23 Escape manifold & a tune?

I'm goin to Try to find an escape manifold, as far as a tune, I doubt ill ever have enough cash laying around for a tuner and a custom tune.

400 isnt that bad actually plus you get lifetime tunes whenver you change something :OD I havent gotten one for myself but I think I will in the near future.

You'll need a custom tune w/ a imrc delete viva a Escape manifold since they don't use the imrc system.
