We can open carry here though :) and we don't have any printing laws. Which also means I can set it on the seat next to me if I wanted to. Correct me if I'm wrong but in Texas doesn't it have to be completely concealed in a vehicle?

That is correct, Texas is a no print state. I keep my glock 17 in my door pocket with a cotton hand towel thrown over it because it breaks up the obvious lines of the frame and because I'm a lefty(and contrary to what Hollywood wants us to believe, bullets will go through a modern car door quite easily). Not sure how much room y'all have under the seat, but I have stitched a holster under there on different cars over the years, makes for quick easy access, both in and out.

Not to mention it looks like you're simply adjusting the seat when you reach down a bit to load/unload the holster. Great idea.

It's a shame the LCD screen doesn't flip up for storage, like I think GM did on some of their cars - that 8" LCD panel would be big enough for this....

Bah, I'm trying to figure out where to hide my gun safes in the car too. Doesn't fit under the passenger seat without disrupting the seat rails like in the cobalt I had.

Argh...

Good hiding spots in the hatch area but I want a spot I can reach from the drivers seat so people can't see me disarm.
