It was never an option, it was made standard on Job 2 2012 builds for cars built after about 4/10/12 depending on when they ran out of the standard two way head restraints.

However for the Job 2 S models they removed the rear heat ducts in exchange for the four way head restraints.

Did they change the position of the seat heater controls? They are soooo annoying where they are (behind the cup holders in the 2012 for those who may not know).

?? Really?
Mine is a 2012, and they are in front of the cupholders, actually, I find the location very convenient. Not my car, but, a pic of a 2012 interior:

That looks like the interior of an SEL / Titanium, though. Mine is an SE with winter package. I'll take a picture on the way home.

The trim level doesn't matter, I think its more of a 5 speed vs 6 speed DCT issue..... I know they improved the location on the 5 speed 12v port orientation(angled away from the armrest now) on the 2013, can't say if they changed the seat heater rheostat switches or not...

That's not true, the S and SE have the fore-aft cup holders in 2012, and the SE without the 201A package (manual or automatic) has the fore-aft cup holders in 2013. The SEL/ Ti in 2012 had the side by side cup holders with the seat heater controls placed forward with the dct or manual as the 5 speed titanium had the same console as the dct ti or dct us spec SEL.

My tech adviser got back to me with some answers:

Cfcastro,

The remote start on the Focus is a factory invoiced one. Itís the same as whatís on Ford accessories website, so there will be a separate remote for it.

The Titanium is the Sport package, RAF_S197; this means it does have modified suspension components compared to the stock Focus. The only other one is the Focus ST, which is also unique suspension. There are three different levels: basic, Titanium, and then the ST.

Quantos,

They are located in front of the cup holders in the center console; not behind. This is the same as the 2012MY.
