Did anyone notice more shift flares after update?

I've noticed more shift flares after I got the update specially from 1st to 2nd, I wonder if I'm the only one.

???

What do you mean shift flares? You mean surging or the car lurching forward?

Its very annoying, I asked if they could remove the new software and leave it the way it was before I was told no.

TSP at 4500 miles. At 7100 miles started experiencing a hard momentary shudder at approx 20 MPH/3000 RPM (2-3 shift I was told.)
Car spent a week in the shop getting the clutch assembly replaced and all TSPs (11-12-13, again)
I am experiencing that flare...RPMs race from approx 1500 to 3000 for a second then settle down again, so far around that 2-3 shift. I thought something might still be wrong. It is annoying. I haven't gotten her on the highway yet after this repair.

Silly question, when i bring my Focus in for schedule maintenance, and i expressly tell them NOT to do any software updates are they mandated to?

They did that to my last Ford vehicle (F250 and after that it went into "vibrations" (their term) i called it "OH i'm about to lose control its bouncing all over the road") and that is why i no longer own that truck.

For a TSB, no.
For a FSA, yes.
