AC vent airflow

My 2009 Ford Focus will not blow either hot or cold air out of the dash air vents.

I can push the defrost vent button and the airflow transfers but when i push the button to transfer the air flow to the dash vents no air comes out. I can hear the change but all the air comes out at the floor vents.

Any ideas on what is causing this issue.
