2012 headlights (low and high beams)

Hey guys, I was crusing through all the HID conversion kit threads, but I don't see a thread just on the regular bulbs. Without actually converting to anything HID, is there a bulb that is just brighter and whiter than the stock 2012 Focus bulb? If there is, please point me in the right direction. I'm looking for the low, high, and possibly the fog lights. Thanks.

If you look at my profile and click on "Threads Started by Ox-y-GenIII", look for the Sylvania ZXE thread. I posted several before and after pics. They are still amazing for just a bulb upgrade instead of going HID. And I did my fogs and low beams but I geared they have some for the hi beams now as well. H11/H1

I put in some orsans and i like them... they 'seem' brighter but not sure if they are or not.. a bit pricey but no more so than the PIAAs i had before in my other focus.. The PIAAs did seem brighter tho...

I put H9 bulbs in instead of H11's. H9 are a euro 65w bulb with nearly 1k more lumens of light output. Put them in months ago and haven't had any negative side affects and they're a LOT LOT brighter.

Got some philips bulbs on eBay, made in germany ones for ~$30 shipped. Just trim the notch in the bulb connector off and plug it in. No modifications to the vehicle at all.

I installed Philips Crystal Vision bulbs (H11) in both my low's and fog's and made a big difference in both brightness and distance down the road!

I read the thread you started. Thanks for the review. Very good info. Looks like I'll be swapping my bulbs out for the ZXE's. I have to admit, I do like HID's, particularly those which rotate in the same direction of the wheels that steer. Having said that, short of Ford offering a plug n' play HID kit, I wouldn't retrofit my car with them. I'll go with the Sylvania's and be content.

I converted my highbeams & fogs with Philips Crystal Vision Ultra (incredible difference versus other brands and my lowbeams with 6000K HID's.

Any chance you could post some pictures? I am very curious about this upgrade!
