svt brakes

any body know what letter in the vin is for svt rear brakes im trying too find rear calipers for a kit ?also do i need a svt master cyclinder if i switch from drums to svt rear disc brakes or is the proportioning on the zetec good for rear disc and front discs too?

Any '05-'07 ST or earlier focus w/ advance trac wil work, as the svt's use the same calipers. Use the same master cylinder you have.

thats what i was thinking........do i need too get the nuckels for the front swap too or just spindels hubs calipers and brackets?

For the front= use '05 spindles only & you'd need '05+ ball joints. The ball joints use a bigger stud for the bigger taperd diameter of the '05 spindle. Then you can use svt calipers & rotors. Get a set of ss brake lines.

but wouldnt the svt nuckles work with my ball joints because i was just goin to get it all plug and play it if you will

Yeah, SVT knuckles will work great. Can you get them?

00-04 Focus will require the SVT knuckles for installation.

You can also use '05 only spindles w/ '05+ ball joints. '05 spindles use the earlier smaller diameter struts & use the new for '05 bigger ball joints. The caliper mount spacing is svt size= hence you can bolt on svt rotors & calipers or any BBK. It should be in the suspension/brake stickies.
