^ thanks Kipp.

So basically you have to do everything faster and peel when it's still wet. Sounds tricky but I am sure with some practice it could look good.

When you spray wheels, do you have to mask the tires, or will it peel off of them?

I used 3m green 1/2" painter tape to make the edge, and then used regular blue colored masking tape that was 2" wide and overlapped most of the green tape and did a second overlap of the blue tape which then covered almost half the tire, overspray is minimal with plasti-dip. I am a very neat painter so I didnt get any on my tires.

Finally received my purple dip, and now I don't know what to do with it. Ideas? /: I was thinking of a stripe or two, black with an adjacent purple stripe, kind of like this, but can't decide what to do.

And would a black line look good on the trunk area, like where the chrome is in this picture?

On to what I did today:

Turn signals, which actually still work magnificently.

Chrome by badge:

Lug nuts, which I'm still iffy about. They look a lot better in person though.

Do not do that! The dip would have to be a few light coats for the light to shine through. If you do it, good luck ever trying to remove it, short of sanding it off
