I only did the grill so far





The lines are kinda terrible but hey, it was my first time.

Got lots more planned. I ordered Glossifier and purple dip, so now I have enough to play around with. Hopefully get the fog lights (black), turn signals (black), lug nuts (purple), and I want to experiment with a decklid on the back, kind of mustang style but going from headlight to headlight on the section with the Ford emblem.

Slowly trying to turn it all black haha.
There was another Focus parked right next to me at work today, silver colored with chrome everything. Chrome on trim, chrome around grill, and nice wheels but they just added to the chrome look. Too, too much chrome.

How hard is the plastidip to remove? Tips and tricks? I plastidipped my factory hubcaps on my 2012 but I'm bored with it now.

just start rolling at the edge and peel. the difficulty depends on how detailed the surface is and how thick you sprayed it.. but it's still pretty easy to get off. just takes some patience.

I am wondering sorta the same thing. Can you mask with tape and get a sharp line as you would with normal spray paint?

you can, but it was to be done a different way. normally when you spray this you would do several light coats with some set time in between. however if you want to do lines where you would need to mask off then you'll want to do a quick spray method. lay your tape and you'll spray several layers a little faster with little time between coats. then you have to pull the tape before it dries so it cuts clean through the dip and leaves a sharp edge. if you let it dry then it will rip the dip when you pull the tape unless you want to cut that line after it dries and before pulling tape. a little more tricky method, but has great results if done right.
