thanks guys im pretty stoked about the new ride. sorry i haven't posted its finals week but ive already ordered a cold air and looking into header, cat delete, and catback. suggestions are appreciated. i want something with a ton of cackle, thats not some peoples cup of tea but i love it. in the next couple weeks im doing a few minor cosmetics. making the rims flat black, then go with the ford blue caliper paint. black out all the badges. and give everything a twice over while im at it. before and after pics will be coming. i am a die hard wrangler guy but im already loving this thing a ton. im pretty excited to see what kinds of work i can do to it without breaking the wallet.

Intake and exhaust are mostly noise enhancers, not much gains to be had. But the best sounding exhaust IMO is Borla, it gives a nice deep rumble at low RPM and screams at redline. Check out some videos on YouTube to see if it's the sound you're after. The stock SVT header is also about as good as it gets, aftermarket options don't really improve anything.

Join the club. might as well wrap the header, or do a search for SVT Heat Shield Fix to get a how to on a cheap solution using washers.

i was thinking about plasti dipping the rims flat black, and then later plasti dipping one of the 6 spokes on each the stock svt rims blue like block's fiesta. hopefully i can find a caliper paint that matches the blue plasti dip. whatchu guys think?

welcome to the site..

as far as modding the svt.. bolt on's dont do much.. SVT did a hell of a job squeeezing every hp out of it. I would recommend looking into seeing if the timing belt was done, then mounts, pretty much maintanance... doing a tune would be the best aftermarket mod to do. performance wise shy of going boost.
