I know the interest is for the 00-04 Mk1, but I'm sure this may work on the Mk3 with the a majority of the intake kits for the Mk3 being short ram intake.

Dang, you would think that over the course of 3+ years something would have come through the pipeline by now. How much "interest" do the head honchos over @ ED need to get this thing pushed past the possibility of development phase and in to the R&D phase? You would think that the # of people that CRAVE a FC hood or even something very similar would be more than the # of people that are interested in a RS knock-off front bumper like the F-sport, especially if it has NO fitment issues.

Any way we could find out if this is farther along in the pipeline than just consideration. Even if it in the R&D phase, it can't be very hard to mock up a hood with a NACA duct molded in.

make one yourself. pick up a junk yard hood for $30 and start cutting. if you mess up then pick another spot on the hood and try again and repeat till you get it right and then try it on either another junk yard hood or the hood on your car. bondo it in and paint it. you might end up with $300 total wrapped up in your custom hood including paint.

i had alot of interest in ED doing this too but i waited so long that i went another way. screw them, make your own, which isnt terribly hard, or go another route
