Car and Driver 10Best is out! Focus Back to Back Titles?

I just think its funny how, at least in n. California, Ford doesn't advertise this fact at all. Honda wins another one and they have a salesman knocking at my door to let me know...

it deserves this. we replaced both cars this year, I went with another Ford, and spouse went back to Mercedes. The Mercedes has already been back to the dealer for issues - they replaced the pulleys and the belt to eliminate a squeaking problem, and had to replace window tracks and other items in the front passenger door. Note that they did this repair without question, and gave a loaner car during this repair.

I have only been back for the 3.5.1 & A4 update - except for when I went back about the notches in my 18" mag wheels, which after much debate are normal to have on cast wheels. But most other car makers machine those to look even, while Ford just left them looking like something took random size bites of out them.

Overall I am happy with my car - even after driving the ST at the LA car show this past Saturday.

For the $10k premium above the price of a nicely equipped Focus, they better be nice - but so should the Ford dealers, these machines don't cost peanuts.

My Focus SEL with everything but park assist and nav is one of nicest cars I've owned and is one of my very favorites.

Though my car is one that is plagued with problems, I truly do love my car. I just got out of five days in a rental car and when I got back in my Focus I immediately fell back in love. It handles and drives like a car double its price. Sure some models have their issues but if/when Ford buys mine back, I am still gonna get a focus. It will just be a manual.

When it was time to return the Nissan Altima I wanted to go to a smaller car and ended up with the Focus. I'm glad I did. Love this car and it pretty much beats anything in it's class. Is it perfect? No! But it drives amazing and for the first American car I've owned I'm quite pleased and happy it made the C&D Top 10 List.

This is what happens to me. I get used to the overall quality and ride of the focus and then drive something else. when I get back, I realize what a great car it is.*

* insert DCT complaint.

We should always hold the opinions of automotive journalists in the absolute highest regard considering that they know everything about cars (even more than the engineers that design them).

I bought my car because it has an interior that doesn't make me want to end my life. Needless to say its no fox body interior. I really like SYNC (non-MFT) and I got $2500 worth of rebates. I traded in my Red 09 MS3GT and gave the stealership 2grand and had a new car. Pretty happy with MPG and Tech...tranny sucks...and I have new infinity speakers to make the sound system better.
