05-07 st fog bezel. how do they compare to stock bezels???

ok i was looking at buying the st bezels and started to wonder , are the stock vs st bezels exactly the same except the silver color??? if so i am going to paint my stockers with a duplicolor silver frost touch up brush... anyone know if theres any visual / physical differences in shape??

exactly the same.

There are 4 rivets (or something similar) holding the round part to the main trim piece. cut those and you can remove the circle part, paint it, then ziptie or pop-rivet it back

use something to pry at the corners and it pops off, I've used loose change. try near the left and right side towards the top and bottom. then disconnect the cig connection and hvac. I swapped my standard silver faced one to a darker one from an ses or st. its pretty easy.

so theres no screws holding it in? also do i need to remove the actual fog light reflectors to remove the bezel?? or can it pop off when their still in?

err we are talking about the fog light trim pieces right? if so, there are two nuts for each one, get under the car and take a look. I think theyre 13mm but could be wrong. might be easiest to take the splash shield off the bumper but not necessary. they come out without removing the fogs/ fog brackets

Here's what my 07 looks like from underneath when I changed out my fog light bulbs . But I have the SAP on mine so yours maybe a little different but this should give you an idea of what to expect.
