moonroofs are the best. you can open em for fresh air without the noise of wind blowing. I even have mine open cruising old highways in the winter with the heat cranked or parked stargazing. theyre perfect for the in between all closed up and windows all rolled down. it's a feature i'd love in my own car, as i've only used em in friends/parents cars, and wish every day my car had

I got a hatch a few weeks ago with moonroof but no MFT. I like the moonroof more than I thought I would.

Definetly get the moonroof as it's all positives with resale value and I use mine. If there is a performance deficiency with a sunroof you won't notice it on the Focus.

I recommend extra tint on the moonroof glass;it will really reduce incoming heat much better than with the factory tint. I have 15% on mine which was perfect.

You lose precious headroom with a moon roof. I personally do not prefer a moon roof. my .02 lol

My ZX3 had a moonroof, my current SE doesn't have one, and I can't say I miss it, so to me it's a tossup.

Now, can someone help me decide between a mocha latte and a decaf latte?

Hands-down, must have the caffeine. I couldn't survive this world without it.

To the other poster...wow, a moonroof without a MFT. That's a stroke of luck there. I've searched the entire state of Texas, LA, OK, AR and no luck on that. Given, my preference of color and leather seats.

i vote no moonroof based soley on performance. all that extra weight high up, affecting the centre gravity.

Since you live in Austin, get the roof. It's nice to have a way to vent all that hot air directly out. As for MFT....I could definitely live without it.

Given the choice, I would never get a sunroof or moon roof.
I would pay extra for a moon roof delete if necessary.

Was already on the car when I bought but very rarely use the thing. If I had to do it again, I'd forgo the roof and MFT.
