Focus in snow - Page 4

If I was in a ditch and needing serviced...I'd gladly watch you drive on by. Hell there might be injuries in that vehicle, a small child,etc. But a 4x4 should remain in the ditch because that driver hadn't a clue how to operate that unit? Might be your family member, Math.

Dont get me wrong, I'm obligated to see if they're ok (certified emergency responder), but what am I gonna do, pull them out with a focus? And I don't mean like I'll drive by someone upside down in a ravine, of course I'll stop and do whatever I can. I use my best judgement given the speed limit in the area, and visible damage to determine whether or not an injury is likely. But if you're just parked nose into a snow wall on the side of the road with your hazards on in a 35 zone, good luck lol. Or if you're backwards in a hedge because you tried to climb a hill that a tank couldn't drive, let alone a Nissan Altima, I will just keep on driving.

lol yup. Pretty darn much. I've lived here my whole life and I swear, half these people shouldn't be on the road. And my fiancee is asian, and she drives like a bat out of hell sometimes!! lol :P She's a really good driver though.

We snowmobile in the U.P. three weeks a year and I trailer every time. I've been in a whiteout traveling 35 MPH and a Dodge Dually pulling a 28' enclosed trailer flew pass me 60 MPH. Found him upsidedown about 7 miles down the road. Six guys standing scratching their heads wondering what the hell happened. Now that there is a NASCAR driver,son!

Danielsville huh? I drive through there on my way to work usually (about 15 minutes away from home). The day you posted this was the first I got to drive my Focus in the snow. It did well despite how horribly slick it was for everyone up my way. Was stuck on 33 for two hours because of a truck accident in Saylorsburg.
