Aaaaannnddd the comments under the article are exactly why I don't read autoblog anymore. The average IQ seems to have fallen way, way, down over there.

That's a shame about the recall, the Escape is undergoing something unpleasantly similar to the 1st gen Focus in terms of the number of recalls. And Ford seems to be selling a lot of them, at least here in California. I see the new Escape every day!

makes me wonder how the Fiesta ST will be affected but then again by the time thats released there will have been a fix for the engine. things for the Escape (at least ecoboost equipped models) aren't looking so good to me w/ all these recalls. not a good start for the Fusion either but i'm sure they'll come up w/ something.
