cant wait for that paint and loving the front! how much did you have to cut away for it to fit? and st170s went out today! ( sorry just came back sat night from CT since tuesday) i love machs but i think these st170s will blend so much more since there not the chrome housings. love it man.. and i like the collections rear you have now.. wheels i think are also going to make this car perfect and make your transformation perfect!

Sorry for not replying sooner. I am only trying to post when I actually have something done! I haven't fitted the lip yet, that will be coming off Wednesday and I will be posting pics on that. I love HID's too much now to lose them, however, I love the look of the ST170's so much better. I am going to do a morimoto retrofit on them when they come in.

Not much of an update but my new shift knob came in today! Also one ST170 headlight

I didn't have enough time to make it to the post office before they closed, so I will just have to wait until Monday for moar stuff!



Very easy install. I just unscrewed the old shifter and put this one on. I did have to drill a hole on both sides to screw it in. I also Di-Noc wrapped the shifter surround and that sleeve thing(whatever that is)

I don't know yet James. I am planning a retrofit on the ST170's, so I might sell the machs or keep them for my DD Focus(whenever I get one lol)

Nice shift knob man. Is that your oem center console? My trim isn't removable. I take it you also got SVT seat heaters?

Yes this is my OEM console and OEM seat heaters. My car came with every option available for the ZX5 in 2003. I already had heated and powered mirrors, leather wrapped steering wheel(not perforated) etc...

Oooh you got it fully loaded eh. You do great Di-noc work. Is it hard to remove the b-pillar trim?

Thanks Tim! The pillars all came off easy except for the forward ones on the rear doors, they were riveted in. I had to drill those out and I put those pillars back on with 3M tape. For ZX3's, just open the door and pop that bottom rubber trim piece off and you will see how the pillar covers hook in. There is another hook at the top corner as well. Just fold the rubber trim back at the top corner and you will see how it's hooked in!
