SVT Mach HID, how many tabs are needed?

Hey guys, how many tabs do the mach hids originally have, and how many are necessary?? Obviously all are ideal but i have one that only has the top mounting tab. Will i be ok??

From my experience with several different headlights over the years, the top tab is definitely the most important one if that is all you have left.

I would echo what Mr. Miller said is true. All are obviously ideal but its even with just one, its not very likely to just fall out.

Are you sure you don't have the bottom one? most people don't bother putting those in but That tab is pretty strong and I don't see how it would come off. That being said one of mine I only used 1 top tab on it and its not going anywhere

It just has the top one..the one on the side is gone. There isnt a third right?

at the highest point in this photo on the bottom of the headlamp that is a tab that you have to bolt in from under the car

I've never seen a set where the bottom tab is gone.
Even my DEPO knockoffs have it ...

There is also one on the side of it, not the grill side but the fender side. A lot of people forget about it or don't even put it on since it's a pain in the butt to get to, unless that's the one your missing?

For real, that particular tab survived me yanking on the headlights several times thinking it was hung up on something. The metal tab it was bolted to however, did not. That is one tough little piece of plastic.
