Wheel Stripes thread!!

well I have a 2000 white ZX3 and I am planing in painting the wheels black and put in on some red wheel stripes

my wheels are 15" oem



these are the stripes from shine graffix that I am getting:

I had always just painted the whole thing and do a red stripe.

This is once when I had kept the stripe when redoing the black part, so it needed touched up.

There's one of them on the car, they were a little dirty though.
My opinion would be to just paint them black and leave a silver lip/stripe. If you paint over bare aluminum, make sure you have conversion coating or you scuff them and clean them directly(seconds) before primer. that small painting tip helped me tremendously the last time I painted my rims and they held up perfectly to all the rocks and everything I could throw at them.

thanks bro, I like the wheels in gloss black like yours
but I like the stripes in vinyl material so that I can change the color every six months

I was thinking in red stripes and I also like white. so I wanted to put red stripes for 6 months and after that put the white onesor put one side red and the other white.
but I think that I will go for the red ones till they last.
