Not leak but pieces can flake or break off and get stuck in the bearings of the motor or turbo and block a oil passage. None of those is a good thing. Why did you even put it on in the first place doesn't it have a O ring on it already?

That's odd it shoulde came with an O ring....it shouldn't leak either....the only place I used rtv sealant was. For the new oil pan with the bung welded in. And I used ALOT

if its a journal bearing turbo it needs a .065 restrictor.

Be careful using a lot of RTV. I did before and found some of the RTV in my pickup tube before. Just use a 1/4" bead of it on the oil pan and let it set up before installing it. If you let is set up it won't squish out everywhere and make little beads that could get broken off.
