In need of a BJ - SVT brake rebuild

my blue SVT is in need of a complete brake job....

So before I get dirty, I'd like to know if anyone here did that before, and knows which caliper kit to choose from. I need the one that contains the rubber pieces.
At part stores same kit is listed for front calipers on SVT and regular focis, so I'm wondering if they really use the same rubber parts. And there is no kit for the rear one at all...

nice, tho I would go with those: http://www.tceperformanceproducts.com/focus/kits-13/

still for me OEM SVT brakes are much more than enough for anything less than hardcore track racing, so I just wanna rebuilt the ones I have.

Ahh man... I need to find that link from where I got my rotors and pads. I think for $240 shipped I got Centric pads and slotted rotors. What I like about them is the rotors don't rust (maybe because I've only had them less than a year) and the pads don't leave a crap load of brake dust.

Hay Chris I am in need of new Rotors and pads on my SVT as well. I am in Houston as well. I live in the Deer Park / Pasadena Area. Nice to see another SVT Focus owner in the city. Keep me informed on how much and what kind of pads you use and how you like them.

ye, glad to see another SVT owner from Houston on the board.
check regional section of this forum, we have some peeps in Houston who are active.

I live close to Galleria. Right now my Foci is out of duty as I work on complete suspension/brake rebuild. But I plan to put Centric rotors because of their swirl finish.

Will do going to check out the regional forum. I am really good with a wrench We may be able to get a few of us together and have a driveway party once a month where we help each other with our cars. Used to do that with the Houston Area Lightning Owners "HALO" and we were able to do big jobs in a short amount of time and have fun to.
