Im getting a F2 header from a FF member soon, Im really excited, it'll be a while till i can get the cash to finish the exhaust but I can't wait for the HP gains. Im in Cali so i need to keep the cat, so I'm gonna have muffler shop custom make me a 2.5 inch exhaust and put the cat in there somewhere haha and swap to a high flow mufflers and have it go out to me custom dual exhaust.
That with me Steeda CAI I'm hoping to see numbers similar to the other members around the 170ish to the wheels. |

I'm thinking about getting the OBXheader and having the 2nd o2 bung welded in. Since OBX can be had for under $300 with flex pipe.

Thiers is uncoated and surface rusts fast I live in cali too where its dry and hot but the header get so much heat it gets to stuff. I'm looking forward installing one on mine this spring. However, I'm auto-Xing mine and want to stay in a particular class, so I'll need some measurements if someone has them. I'd like to know how much longer the headers is than the original manifold at the exit of the cat so I can tweak the header to fit a cat within 6'' of it's original placement.

Finally had the Cash and Time to get my F2 header installed and finish my custom Exhaust.
Had my local Muffler shop install the header for me with no Mods needed.(besides having to notch one cross member for clearance of the header which I pictured) Since I live in California I had them relocate the Cat so I hopefully still pass smog. Then I had them do a Full 2.5 inch Exhaust with a Magnoflow Muffler. Its still a Bit loud for my taste so the shop said they'd throw on a resonator behind the muffler to tone it down a bit more since I have a Custom Dual Exhaust setup from the Axle Back and would hate to cut that out. Ill be posting a video with how it sounds soon. The Steeda Intake combined with this setup really wakes this car up. Cool I would get a lower poly mount to if I was you it will save your flex pipe that's what I did I also have the f2 header with not one problem with the flex pipe there are lots of people that have had problems with the flex pips on these f2 headers just my 2 cents good luck
