most likely 18guage.

when adding an amp and door speakers i would always suggest upgrading to new wire of at least 16gauge if your gonna be running anything over 50watts. might not make a difference but overkill is better then choking the power from getting to your speakers.

I am nervous about the stock wire being large enough. If I decide to run wire do I need to remove the dash to get to the back of the molex connector?

Anyone know how to get to the molex plug from the inside of the car?

Well I need to do both but I am assuming the drivers side will be harder. On the passenger side I know how to take off the glove box, i am hoping i will be able to see the harness (molex conector) at that point. On the driver side I do not know what I need to remove to get to the harness.
Thanks.

To try to make this more clear, once I get the 12 guage wire into the a pillar, how do I get to the end by going up by the kick panel. Is it easier to start by the kick panel (inside the car) and attempt to push out by the molex connector (to the outside of the car)?

Either way is more comfortable for you. I do know that it easier to run the amp power wire from the inside.

You will want to remove the lower part of the dash to get to the molex. It should screw off.

I am comfortable with the amp power wire, it is just getting the speaker wire into the doors that is causing me grief. I must have missed the screws to remove the underside of the dash. That is what I was asking, how to get to the molex behind the dash. I will look again for the screws.
Thanks freemind!
