and its all bull.

port for the air filter gauge....

so its justa freaken tube. a tube! its a completely sealed off in a box with a fake dummy air filter gauge. this car is from a complete original bought new 06 ford focus pzev.

must be lifetime since theres no filtration element...

the "filter" should be in the fender past the maf tube , thats just a resonator

then why would there be an air filter gauge in the empty box? theres no piping leading to the resonator chamber at all

im not sure why the guage is on that box , but mines an 06 , and it goes throttle body - res box - maf tube - lifetimefilter.

so underneath where this box goes on yours should be a tube ( the maf housing) then there should be a u bend tube going to the lifetime filter box which is located inside the drivers side fender behind the wheelwell splash guard , and beyond that filter should be some tubing for the end of the intake for a cold air effect.

If/when you pull the rest of the filter out, that would be interesting to see cut open/cut away of it. I thought the filter was in that box too.

I did the DYI SRI on mine and just took the box out, the rest is still in there. Fail :(

Now cut the actual filter open.
I spent an hour looking for pics of one cut open, never found one.
