Hi y'all! I bought a 2012 Focus SEL hatchback witht the tri-coat white paint. I live in August, GA. This car is my new daily driver. I'm a muscle car guy and have several of those (Z28, Trans Am, and my daughter's Mustang), but I needed something practical, fun to drive (can't sacrifice that), got good mileage, and a lot of after market support so I can continue to have fun with the car even after it's a few years old.

Ford had the S, SE, SEL, and Titanium for 2012. In 2013 they dropped a model to make room for another. So now you have the S, SE, Titanium, and ST. Basically the SEL has the mirrors, chrome trim, shift-tronic transmission, 4-wheel disk brakes, etc. that the titanium has, but it doesn't have the push button start, blacked out lights, sporty bucket seats, larger alloy wheels or the price tag. In Atlanta they knocked off $4,500 for the SEL whereas the other models were about $3,500 so I took the SEL.

The SEL is the cushy mid range 2012 Focus.

The ST technically slots below the Titanium for 2013.

Man, when I saw that picture for FocusFest 2011 with a map of Kentucky, I was like "Sweet! I don't have to drive far!" Then I saw "2011". It's in St. Louis this year right? That's not a bad drive, I might have to come. Then again, there really isn't a such thing as a bad drive in a Focus.

Anyways, I drive a ZX5. Had it for 3 years, got ran off the road once (like right after I bought it ) but the only damage was some cosmetic damage, the right fog light is gone. I just bought a new one today actually. Oh, and apparently "there's a hole in [my] air conditioning", it's a 300 dollar fix. Screw that, who needs A/C in Kentucky?

Hey everyone :D I'm 17 and I just got my first Focus, a 2003 ZX5. Not only is it a huge upgrade from my last car (1996 Ford Ranger) but it is a load of fun to drive. Ive been looking for any reason to drive into town or take the long way home from work, its just so much fun to drive.

There are a few downsides, like my 12v outlet is broken, and the CD player makes some ungodly rattling noise when trying to load a CD. Besides that though, I love my car. I registered here (by googling "ford focus forms" lol) so I can ask the community whenever I have a problem with my car, and getting some good ideas on how to change the appearance or add a few extra horses.

I'm also slightly obsessed with loud heavy music.
