Only way to see if they have high beams are if they have an small extra bulb on the hid bulb and if the connector has three prongs. In my 03, it had 2 prongs like the stock halogen bulb had but the stock bulb had 3. My hid kit had 2 prongs that plugged in cuz it was low beam and and ground. Honestly I wouldnt worry about it because the hids are bright enough that u dont need a high beam trust me.

BECAUSE THEY ARE ZENTEC CRAP!!!! Seriously, tell your friend he bought cheap Chinese crap and try to return them. They dont work right because they are junk. Google the seller, he is a fraud, his kits work for a week or 2 and then he doesnt honor warranty. You friend got hosed.

I figured it out yesterday night I had the ground and the high beam wire mixed up..... It came with instructions to plug the wires into the connector so I didn't think that could be wrong but it was.
