Thanks for the info, but $20+ for a .20cent piece of plastic that should have been there in the first place, not interested. That's at least 3x what I'd consider

I hear ya..the total was actually $21.51 (found my invoice for it)

It is nice though to have because I hate putting things into the deep abyss which is the center console and then having to remove most of the contents because the item I am looking for fell to the bottom.

I would not even know if he has the best prices in this case (I assume he does) because my local dealer which I called had no idea what I was talking about and really did not care to try to find it either. The number posted earlier in the thread (which is stamped on the bottom of the tray) is NOT the part number, it is a design/engineering number, which they apparently cannot use to track it down. Steve actually did some research after asking me to send him the thread with the photos and he managed to track it down for me. Well worth the price which was $21.51 total (I found my invoice for it)

The picture of the bag with the part number is the number you want to give him.

note: I think this tray will only fit the consoles that have the cupholders left and right of one another, not the console that has the cupholders infront and behind one another.

At least 2/3rds of the time the engineering part number and the service part number are the same. In cases where not there is a mapping of one to the other and worst case it's via a subassembly.

So your dealer is lazy. Just like Roy OBrien Ford was lazy when I called them. In fact the guy said "that doesn't even resemble a Ford part number" and was quite the... well, I am done with 9 Mile and Mack.

You need a car guy to help you, not someone who is just in it for a paycheck and doesn't want to go the extra mile to help out.
