HVAC turning itself on?

For the last few days, whenever I start my car, the HVAC system turns on by itself. It used to be if i kept it off...it would stay off until I turned it on. Now, i turn it off, and i even put it in manual mode before turning it off...and when i start the engine...it turns itself on again.

Is this a feature (meant to drive me crazy) or something not right?

Check your settings in MFT vs the DZ-Eatc control head, if its turned on in MFT it will stay on when you restart the car even if the control head was turned off afaik.
