you did it yourself? I have the bi-directional remote start coming as well. The dealer wants 3 hours labor (about $240) to install. I paid $224 for the starter from leviston Ford supercenter. I was kind of leary of doing the isntall because i odnt want them saying any electrical issues were caused from my install.

Its really easy to install , mostly plug and play only 6 or 7 wires you have to splice in use solder and heat shrink.

The instructions are included and clear as to what wires you need to tap into, where they are located and the color codes?

I had to splice in 7 wires and I tucked the hood sensor under the dash. anyone can do this install.

I asked my local dealer and they are asking $550 + tax installed for a 1-way 600 feet remote start unit. No thanks, I found a reputable shop locally that will do it for $436 + tax with a 2-way remote with a 1-mile range.
