use a roller or the back of a spoon, the better the adhesion the better the result

And to answer the stickiness in cold weather, if its around 50 you will be fine , if not use a hair dryer to warm the deadener up before applying

it sat in the sun before i put it on, it actually turned out to be a beautiful day and did a pretty good job ill post pics at some point lol

Might get some more sound deadening material myself. Had a friend give me 20 sq feet of dynamat xtreme for free :) I don't have rear seats in my zx5 so I did my hatch area and fenders(took off the hatch area interior panels). Plan to deck my hatch area which should also help with the noise. Figured id put some foam under the deck and would also like to put foam behind the hatch area panels when I reinstall them to help.absorb sound as well. Decked area will have hinged door for access to the spare. The area in front of my Massive rear strut bar will most likely be raised to allow the mounting of a low volume 10" sub and amp and a small compartment for tools.

Looks good. I also went to all the way to the carpet. Not gonna try taking all the carpet up to put it under the carpet though. Need to do my my hatch under the glass though. I plan to put some on my doors when I take my panels off to refinish them.

thanks man, my next step is to buy enough fabric to do the entire rear and the head liner cause its gross from everyone touching the roof
