I did mine inside like you planning on doing. The biggest problem with it is that the tint lifts of the dimpled area above the mirror and around the edge, but it doesn't really bother me. Here's what it looks like.

Wait i do, i'm going to try and scrape it off with a razor or something, see if I cant make a flush surface for the tint to stick to
