On my way home from cleveland I got 37.5. If I didnt have another person with me, all our stuff, subs, and heavy 17'' wheels then I think I could have hit 40. One day...lol

Somethibg has to be wrong with my car...im getting 20-21 city and when I have some fun on back roads like 18-19 I drive pretty much strictly in town with short ~10mi highway trips.

When I have done almost all highway I saw 25mpg

Its a loaded 02 ZX5 5SPD leather, sunroof my detailing stuff fills the hatch prolly all together weighs 80lbs+

I shift usually between 2-3k rpm 2k driving conservative 2500-3k normal driving

Lmk if anyone has any input for me...

I just bought it from a family friend...there son drove it and didnt take great care if it.

I changed all fluids fuel filter, plugs and wires ran Lucas injector cleaner through it along with a few tanks of premium cause the gas was sitting stagnant for almost 2yrs...

Well, at least I'm not alone haha

Maybe its cause all of my trips are short and stop and go...

Its still Drastically better than my "fun car"
...lets just say a 6L LS2 is a little thirsty (8-12mpg)
Especially in a ~3900LB BEAUTIFUL Aussie built car ;b

I've currently beem getting 300-320 miles per tank. It takes me 11.7 gallons to fill it up, and that's from running on empty for 30 miles or so, so i don't know where people get 12.whatever gallons.

I have a heavy lead foot. My last tank i got 23 mpgs.
