Took mine to the dealer and they were kind enough to install the new LEDs for me. The tech I talked to said that there isn't a special tool, and they think they are a total PITA to remove too! Here's a few pics.

Great write up, especially the pictures.

I just upgraded my low beams to Philips H11 CrystalVision Ultra Headlight Bulbs.

I couldn't detach the wiring harness to the whole headlight assembly, but I was able to change the bulb with it attached so it all worked out good.

Thanks again Chickenmuffn

Did any of you check the fit along the bottom of the headlight assembly after you finished changing bulbs. I had my headlights out while I was installing Phillips DRLs on the triangular panels below, when I put the headlights back, I noticed that there is a small gap below the assembly. After a lot of wrestling with it I was able to make it fit a little better but it still looks like a place for water to enter on rainy days or at the carwash. It seems like there should be a rubber gasket below the light assembly, but of course, there is not.

Mine? Yes it is the camera/picture. I actually took that pic before I did the low beam swap.

Fogs and parking lights installed, using these instructions. Matching PIAA yellow:

And, just for giggles, a shot of the stubby antenna I put on yesterday, with Tom Dually, My F350, looking on.

I know your camera made it look this way, but I really like the way this looks actually.

I am on amazon right now debating between 6K and 8K bulbs. I like the blue, but I am leaning towards the 6K for a more practical look? THe 8K might look sweet with yellow fogs, but the the headlights would look out of place. Blue laminix? Sidenote the "8000k t10 bulb looks nothing like the bulbs in the pictures. I don't think I'll be getting those
