Yes, some will need an omni kit and some wont

Somewhere between 05 and 06 ford changed/redesigned the front struts. The omni kit is essentially a sleeve that allows you to fit the slimmer front struts from earlier models into the newer designed front. This increases the choices of aftermarket suspensions for later focus models.

I think the older set-up has a uniform spring shape. The newer one has a little pigtail at the bottom, which is, the diameter of the spring decreases for the last coil.

Just to add it'll only drop your car .05''. FRPP has 1.5'' springs too. If only 1/2'' Whats the point?

Not so much lookin for drop. I'd imagine it handles better
