isn't so bad. It's a lot better than topping out at .

Don't waste money on a tune because doing speeds of will get you in big trouble anyway.

Than whats the point in being a car enthusiast? Everyone does it, Whether you get caught or not is a diff story. And that tuning from ebay is for newer ford focus's. It wont work on mine. I have a 2000 ZTS

there are legal issues that arise when FF condones such driving. WE WILL NOT ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO BREAK ANY LAW.

There are lots of threads here, and on FJ, from which you can learn the ins and outs of tuning your Focus. Good luck.

Just because "everyone" does, doesn't mean we need to go talking to everyone about it. I know I have driven spirited we will say but I just leave it like that.

Because believe it or not Law Enforcement does look on the internet for illegal acts and proof there off.

To answer your question I would go with the FSWERKS tune. I believe they are around 450 or so to get a tune.

since no one else seems to have pointed it out.
your car is 13 years old now and its highly doubtful you or any previous owners have maintained nor done any suspension upgrades, it's also highly doubtful you have the brakes or tires to handle high speeds and the braking associated with them. not to mention your experience level judging from your post and no formal training. you and your car are nothing but another statistic waiting to happen.
By the way, spend the 400 bucks, you only gain about 10 or so mph before aerodynamics kick in. Your in a focus, your not speed racer so learn to live with it.

GreenEnvy makes an excellent point. On top of the other people pointing out the rules.

Why spend the money on an older car with unknown history when you could put it towards something newer that you don't really have to worry about and will probably be a bit quicker.
