Sure, you posted "facts" like where you claimed the 2013 Fiesta and Focus fuel economy numbers were 40 MPG when they're actually 33 for the SFE model (and lower for the non super fuel economy models). Meanwhile the 2013 Prius is rated at 50 MPG.

It's already been 14 pages of 2 groups of guys jerking each other off over how great the prius is and how great the focus/fiesta/cmax are in comparison. You're all just repeating each other. There really isn't anything else to say.

I don't have any burning desire to step into this back and forth Prius love/hate that has been festering here for 134 posts. I did, however, want to commend Ford on their new advertising for the C-Max Hybrid (which was kind of the original point of this thread). I've gotten a chuckle out of the TV commercials they are currently running; even if they do play on stereotypes that apparently really grate on current/past Prius owners if this thread is any indication.

Actually only one side has jerking themselves off and it hasn't been the Prius team.

The solution is clear, stop regurgitating fossilized old myths and ignorant prejudices onto the board regarding hybrids in general and the Prius in particular and you won't get clobbered by the facts. We don't want to hear your defeated whining on the subject anymore than you do.

What's not a myth is how awful the Prius is as a whole.

Electricity and batteries are just not good for the environment and it turns normal people into pricks who think they're saving the world.
I don't care how many MPG it gets, it feels cheap and drives like a hospital bed. In my eyes it is not a good value and should not exist.

Toyota has not built a good car, they've just built a car and used clever marketing to sell it.
