Ridiculous fuel mileage

I changed at 945 miles to a true synthetic. Here is the UOA for that.

Hey folks,

Keep in mind that during winter months, some people experience lower fuel economy. Get the most out of the fuel in your vehicle by maintaining proper tire inflation, using the correct grade of oil, keeping your engine tuned, changing your air filter, and completing regular maintenance tasks.

If you're concerned about your vehicle's fuel economy, bring it up to your dealer the next time you have an oil change or scheduled maintenance visit so they can take a look.

I'm bringing it to the dealer next week. This last tank was the worst yet. 364 Kilometers and the fuel light just came on. Thats with 100 kms highway and the rest city, but not toronto traffic creeping. It was all fairly decent this run. Light to light with no stops in between. That's great mileage for a 3800 in Buick Grand National. I am fully aware of winter gas and driver habits but this is just ridiculous. In gridlock and creeping along, I would expect poor mileage. But as I mentioned, I did not experience any bumper to bumper during this last tank. I really quite enjoy this car. I was happy to be able to have a fun to drive car that was supposed to deliver on economy as well. The fun part is quickly being eroded away.

I drive a TI sedan. In city stop and go driving I can granny it as low as 6.5 to 7, or driving agressively up to 10 or 11. Accelleration and anticipated stops are key. To max your city milage:
- get off the gas way early and coast into your stop.
- accelerate SLOWLY keeping rpm low.

To max highway milage stay steady at about 80 km/h

Reset your trip meter to get a fairly live reading of your milage for about 25k after reset.

This car can be driven to great milage though it takes some 'focus'.
