I don't think this is a trick, but I discovered tonight that if you're playing music through BT and you have your Navigation on through your phone, it'll play music and state the route instructions? I think that's pretty cool.

It only works if you're playing music through BT audio though. :(

Strange, but mine doesn't do that. I'll pay attention to that tomorrow morning.

Make sure you've started the vehicle as well. Open the door and press it once because I don't think you need to hold it.

It should do it, I know mine does, I put the wipers on if I need to clear the windows before setting off and if you drove straight into the spot and need to back up the wiper will cycle once each time the car is put into reverse. He didn't like that so he removed the wiper. I on the other hand don't mind that and still like the wiper personally, but mine doesn't usually streak or dirty the window more than it was before, usually actually cleaning it.

Yep. Hit Menu > Sync Media > Select Source I believe.

Store a "home" location through Sync (not Nav) and say "Traffic to Home".

It gives you the traffic along route even if you don't have Nav, and if you do, it's faster than setting a destination to home and having it scan for traffic.

Way cool!
I'm terribly sorry for the n00b question, but do I need MFT for this?

Thanks.

No worries, dutd33! Like MichaelJD1980 said, all you need is SYNC Services. Aside from creating save points and alerts, you can also obtain news, traffic, weather, and sport information. For all the details, check out:

Let me know if you have additional questions.

You're right, oshoguno, thanks for jumping in. I overlooked dutd33's location.

I apologize, dutd33, SYNC Services is not currently available outside the U.S.
I know a lot of Canadian customers would like to have this feature. Take part in the poll they've created:
