Tune - Do I have one?

Hi All,

Been a lurker for a while and finally got myself a 2002 Focus SVT a couple of weeks ago. I want to get a tune but since there is very little history on this vehicle (the last owner said they didn't do it) how do I know if it already has an aftermarket tune. Having not really driven others (other than test drives) I have no way to know the performance and driving characteristic differences.

Weather it has a tune already or not is not the issue.

Just treat it as though it doesn't. You don't have the Xcal, so you can't datalog and send them to a tuner for updates. So even an old tune is useless.

Contact 1turbofocus and see what he can do for you far as prices.

When I bought my SVT I had a Steeda Tune, which was pretty bad...I realised it when Tom (1turbofocus) tuned my car remotely.

I'm in the same boat. I have no history on my car but I'm finding new mods on my car everyday. Wondering if I need to know exactly what the mods are before a tune. The flip side is should I just leave it alone as it runs really good.
