has anyone done this yet?

and what im refering to it the spaces on either side of the car behind the front seats, normally where the panels are...right below the rear speakers in a 2 door hatch...ill post a pic or two later of what am really talking about as im at work and they dont allow certain sites like photobucket. but i was wondering if they would be good spots to place some subs in along with other things like mids and tweets, seeing how there is quite a bit of space?

doing components there works fine. if you wanted to put a sub there you will need to build a good box for it.

if you can do fiberglass and wood work then no it shouldn't be too hard. i can't say how good it will sound though.

I think that this came up a few years back.

But to the OP, yes anything is possible with fiberglass.

instead put some 8" subs and run them as mids. it would add good amount of depth if done right.

A set of ICON 8's would be cool.
