Front lower control arm bolt
Replacing the lower control arms on my car and can't believe how tight the bolt that goes through the sub frame is. Had a 1/2 drive breaker bar with 18mm impact socket and a 5 foot bar for leverage. The socket ended up slipping on the head of the bolt. Soaked it with PB blaster for two days prior. I am in the process of grinding the head off and driving it out that way. I am unable to heat it up due to the lack of room. Any suggestions before I start on the other side? Thanks

This. When I did mine I assumed it was a welded on nut like everything else. Snapped the bolt and thought I was screwed. haha
And yes It is torqued on there pretty tight. Make sure you replace the bolts. They are torque to yield. I snapped the other one putting it back in and wasn't even close to the torque spec. Bolt part number - W706861-S439

It looks like I will have to remove the sway bar to get room to get anything on the nut to turn it. Any other ideas?

I left my sway bar on. You need to use an open end wrench to get at it. Socket wont fit.
