^^ okay thanks, the rpms did go up when i depressed the clutch which im familiar with in other manual cars ive owned when there cold, the sound just threw me off, its kinda cool though haha. i wouldnt have bought an svt if i wanted to "take my time" lol. thanks!

Me too, I too am a rather new owner and am impressed on how the second wind comes in. You diffenetly notice it with the high compression. Its just not the variable timing/DOHC that where put into this block by SVT. Solid engine IMO.

Consider tuning it as well as I am close to doing this.

Um Removing the counter weight makes the shifts less rough... Reverse lockout ez to get into no hard shifting..... you remove a weight, weighs less easier and smoother shift... You can shift .01 sec faster! think of the time you save in the 1/4th

If you're suffering from sloppy shifts or alot of play in gear I guess there a cool little trick under wutangs? Gertag 0 dollar mod thread. it felt like up top I had 1" of play side to side fixed it right up
