Fun with PlastiDip!

Well I got new tires today and the plastidip will have to be redone or ill just powder coat or paint lol

just did my winter rims in gun metal grey , ill post pics up tmo . ive heard many people say that it looks like primer and i see what they mean but i kinda like the combination of my car being dipped and the rims.

Thinkin about doing my rims, front lip, badges, and anything else I think of later. How does this hold up in a car wash with brushes?

Edit: Nevermind, watched their vids on the U tube. Getting some tomorrow!

just make sure you let it set for several days before the first time you go through a car wash.

even without plastidip, if you love your car and can't wash it yourself, then go the touchless route

I would stay away from brushes completely, but the previous owner didn't, so theres nothing i'm gunna do to make the scratches worse. Whenever I get a car with nice paint, i'll never use brushes.

Interested to see how they came out. I'm thinking about plasti dipping my six spoke svts that color.

Touchfree wash, dip held up and car is nice and shiny again :)

Heres a pic of the rims two days after dipping , i was in a rush to get the tires on so i didnt peel it off the tires until a few days after.

Also dipped the center caps and put those on also. im not totally excited about how they look .... im missing my svt's already :( but it will do for the winter.
