Car Show for Children's Miracle Network - Saturday Nov 17 - Claremore, OK

Some of you know about my work with the Make-A-Wish foundation while I was employed at Gamestop. I helped almost a dozen kids with shopping sprees in my store in less than a two year period.

Well, my new employer, Westlake Hardware, also has a charity they help out every year, and it's the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

From November 5th-25th we are doing a donation drive for CMN Hospitals and all money raised will go directly to a local CMN Hospital. For our store that is The Children's Hospital at St. Francis in Tulsa.

We are taking donations in the store, but I decided to put on a free car show on November 17th at our Westlake Hardware store in Claremore, OK to help raise some more money for the cause.

Since it's a free car show, in order to raise money, spectators will vote on their favorite car with their wallets. Each car will have a bucket in front of it. Spectators are encouraged to donate in the bucket of the car they like the most, and at the end of the day the car with the most donations in it will win first place. All of those donations will go to CMN Hospitals.

To encourage people to bring their cars out, I decided to put up some of the items I got at SEMA as prizes.

First place gets first pick, Second place gets second pick, and Third place gets the remaining item.

If you are local to Tulsa, please come out and join the car show. I would like to get over 20 cars on display. It is short notice, less than two weeks, but I know we can do it! Please spread the word as well if you know someone who might be able to make it out!

If you can't make it to the car show and would like to donate, send me a PM and I'll give you my paypal for the donation. I'll include those donations on the day of the car show.
