Man, I got it installed last night and I see what you are saying with that one. Weird. Not a big deal but it is going to take a little getting used to. I'm just accustomed to the idea that when a screen launches and then goes blank, well, here comes the reboot. Fortunately it pops back up quickly. Just gotta get used to it.

Also noticed the "no street name under compass" after a reset or reboot isn't fixed. No street name after my install last night so I set a quick route home and cancelled to get it back. Had to run a reboot when I got home (for other post-install issues) and when I checked my home screen about an hour later, again no street name under the compass. Not that big of a deal either I guess as at least there is a known fix/workaround for this.

Umm, I'm be in that dealers GM office about the waste of my time and at least get something for it - oil change and filter on them next time?

My time is my money - the more I waste, the less of it I have to spend there.

I'm still loosing my Sirius Traffic and Weather Services after this latest update.

Is there an easy way to reboot the system without doing a Master Reset?

Yeah, there is a reboot app. I keep a copy of it in my car permanently on a USB drive because I have to reboot my system every 5,6,7 days or so because I lose my Sirius stuff as well. See here:

Pop it in and let it install right before you shut down. It will reboot MFT while the car is shut down. You can't reboot on the fly with it though.

So once you put this app on the THumbdrive. Anytime you want to reboot the system you just plug it into the USB and it installs it (each time) and then when you turn the car off and open the door it reboots?

You do have to install the app every time right?

Yep, as long as it gets shut down after installation. If you are away from your car for a while before starting again, you won't even see the reboot (schd maintenance) screen. It does the whole thing while it is shut down.

Yep again. That is why I keep the dedicated drive with the app on it in my car.
