worth buying ??
Im looking at buying this focus tomorrow morning. I just wanted everyones opinion. I think its a 2000 SE model so i guess its got the 2.0 SOHC motor ?
I guess these engines are known for dropping valves ? Is there anything that can be done to prevent the problem ? ON the upside its a one owner car, only 128k miles, auto trans., there is a decent dent in the rear drivers side door, and it needs new tires, but, i can get the car for 950 bucks and the guy says it runs and drives excellent. Soooo.. whats everyones opinions ??

Not all SE's have the SPI some come with the 2.0 zetec.. My advice if it does have the SPI, rebuild the head ASAP. SPIs are extremely reliable, get great mileage, and are easy and cheap to work on.
