Update on using the brass tee, the larger one did not work. Basically the 3/8 test hose is larger than the factory hose's inner diameter!!! So the brass tee is too big for factory and perfect for the hose i got at the auto store. So i had to use the napa one in the end. Im going to my tuners shop and see if he can custom make a hose tee. Maybe ill sell them based on the cost to produce them on the fourm.

I know this has taken forever to get back to everyone on here I apologize for that. Had some tuning issues going on. Local shop looked over everything and helped me out with the tune. Still working through some of the issues but car is doing good. Can't go past 5k for some reason. Which sucks because I'm hitting full boost around 3700. I'm running 7.8psi making 200.03whp and 185.55 tq.

I know in the dyno it shows up to 6500 but had issues after that.
Am having an issue with white smoke at idle every once in while but the turbo is still pulling strong. Running a compression check to see if any of my rings are bad. The smoke isn't all the time but still wanna know what's going on before something bad does happen. Already talked to the place that sold me the turbo and if comp check comes back good he is gonna send me a new one. Really good communication and service. Need to get the tune solved so I can up the boost. I'll keep you posted on the comp check. Can someone give me some insight on what numbers I should see on the comp check?

Also installed short throw shifter and adding a muffler to quiet the exhaust down some. I love it but its just too loud in partial throttle. I'll get a sound clip before and after and post it this weekend.

OK I did the compression check and had 175 on all 4 cylinders. Soim gonna check over the oil drain make sure there is no dips or kinks. All signs lead to that or the seals are starting to go. Turbo still pulls hard it is only in idle that it will smoke. Not all the time just every once in a while. So added the muffler and the car sounds great. Nice deep tone. Running 2.5" downpipe no cat to 3" exhaust with 2 borla resonators to a N1 style muffler with a silencer on. My camera I used to get the sound clip sucked. I'm gonna get a new one soon to post on here. But have some pics of the muffler and the install.

Also painted my headlights like the ses headlights. Turned out pretty good. I sealed them and let the silicone cure for quite a while, like 6 hours, but still have some fogging and condensation building up. I'll take care of it.

Well thats it for now on updates.

Yea I kinda like that look. To each their own. Just wanted to do something different than the traditional exhaust tip out the back. I could have gone straight out the back but less bends this way. Different sound too. Ironically it sounds a little like a wrx. Need something that records sound better. I'll get something soon.

Going back on the dyno this week to resolve the cut off at 5k rpms. Hopefully get this resolved. I would definitely enjoy another 2k of boost. I'll post some numbers up with the new tune. Still not raising the boost yet. It's coming though. Probably January, February time frame.

Is the boost dropping off at 5k or is the ECU going into limp mode?

It is literally like hitting a brick wall at 5k. Doesn't go lean at all. My wideband is reading 11 to 11.5 when I hit full boost.
