I never had an issue getting my dogbones to go in and out. Maybe the massive is too thick to go in easily?

That's pretty much the issue, I didn't have hardly any trouble slipping the mount in with the Prothane inserts. I had to get it just right to get the ES ones in. All I did was pull the tranny forward towards the front of the car. If you have to push up then the upper trans mount is probably worn out, they tend to sink over time and some even tear like mine did.

Yup, took a while with my CFM one. I remember having to pry the transmission forward a bit, then I couldn't get the bolt holes to line up. It went in after a while of man-handling it.
