In my opinion, if your looking for a good turbo kit go with fswerks like everyone else has said, but you cant really make a race car/ hot rod on a budget especially if your going turbo. Turbos, manifolds, sensors, any stock all break when adding more than stock hp and tq. Honestly do it right the first time, save about 5,000 rebuild your engine from everything to bearings to piston rings, do the head, camshafts, the whole thing. No reason to put a turbo kit on your car if you cant utilize its full power, especially when itll break down with a "ebay" kit. Take it from me I had to part out my car because it got to expense trying to repair parts from my "ebay" kit.

There have been plenty of people who have built their own. I built my own and have made some decent power with what I've got. I'm making 207whp and 192 tq on only 7.8 psi. Sure it would have been easier to just buy a kit but I was able to save a lot of money by doing it myself. My intercooler, piping, turbo, and flanges were all bought on ebay. Holding pretty good right now. The one thing about building your own kit though is tuning is not included. But all in all, I spent half of what their kits cost and that includes my gauges, Mafia, intake manifold and exhaust (stuff that doesn't come in those kits). But do whats best for you. There's plenty of research out there. Have any questions just check out my thread or pm me.

Never problems with the kit i built. All my headaches were tune related. Solved that problem and got a different tuner.

If you're going to boost your car and DD it. I would HIGHLY recommend buying the FSWerks kit. It is very reliable.
